Alstom is looking for new Electrical database manager within the central engineering team, located in Saint Ouen (93) His / Her responsibilities will be:

  • Manage a team of several collaborators (internal and external, including people on other site)
  • Ensure the management of our technical database (CLAMP) for Rolling stock activities
  • Ensure the management of the administrative activity of the Mechanical Preferred Part List
  • Ensure the management of the administrative activity of the Electrical Preferred Part List
  • Ensure the consistency of the above activities with the "products" strategy defined by the component experts
  • Support "New Electrical Organisation" activities (Tool : EED)
  • Write, implement and distribute processes related to the tools inherent in the above activities
  • Ensure communication and user training at all Alstom sites
  • Create and Promote Preferred Part List (PPL)
  • Ensure updating and regular distribution of PPLs
  • Define and put in place weekly monitoring indicators
  • Participate in the evolution of CLAMP + EED tools (writing specification, tests on PreProd environment, validation, ... etc)

Field of action

  • All electrical components (cables, connectors, relays, ...)
  • Wiring accessories (collar, sleeves, ...)
  • All mechanical components (fasteners, grease, paint, raw material, ...) 


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Engineer or equivalent
  • Specialization: Informatic, data management or significant experience in this domain
  • Manage algorithmic as well as different programming languages ​​including Visual Basic
  • Management experience should be better
  • Autonomous, rigorous, pedagogue and with a good analytical mind
  • English fluent mandatory
  • A knowledge of rail electrical and mechanical components is a plus
