Could you be the full-time Cost Estimation Engineer in Saint Ouen, close to Paris we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your cost estimation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll contribute to achieving accurate technical cost estimations for parts and assemblies, supporting the Engineering team in adopting a Design to Cost approach. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, sourcing, and logistics), develop and utilize cost models, and propose design improvements to optimize costs.
You’ll specifically take care of building cost models and providing detailed cost breakdowns for sourcing, but also identifying cost drivers and proposing technical alternatives.
We’ll look to you for:

Developing and utilizing costing tools for accurate estimations

Calculating technical costs (Should Cost / Could Cost) using appropriate methodologies

Ensuring product feasibility and consistency of industrial and sourcing assumptions

Proposing design improvements to reduce technical and industrial costs

Generating and formalizing Design to Cost ideas

Supporting technical business cases and proposing design rules

Degree in Engineering or a related field

Experience or understanding of costing methodologies and tools

Knowledge of industrial processes and segmentation

Familiarity with quality gates (V-Cycle) and engineering tools (DMA/CATIA/E3S/IGE XAO)

A strong command of English

Proficiency in MS Office tools

Good entrepreneurial mindset, agility, and collaboration skills
