Could you be the full-time Procurement Commodity Leader – Facility Management we’re looking for?
This position is located in St. Ouen (France).
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic procurement expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Royce MOEHRENSCHLAGER (Commodity Manager for Facility Management in Berlin), and work alongside dedicated Commodity Leaders and Regional Buyers worldwide.
You'll be in charge of deploying the Integrated Facility Management concept in countries all over the world, following our procurement strategy. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Regional Procurement, project, Legal, Supplier risk, Quality, Finance, Real Estate, and Industrial teams ), to support the group’s industrial strategy through supplier excellence.
You’ll specifically take care of the global suppliers relationship management, but also support RFQ process and supplier negotiation.
We’ll look to you for:
Leading the commodity
- Acquire knowledge of global market, organize benchmarks, apply cost models
- Act as an expert with optimization of product total cost of Ownership
- Support actively transversal and sites projects execution
- Manage supplier risks and set appropriate mitigation plan
- Lead commodity maturity improvement plan and the savings plan
- Take appropriate trainings provided
- Live the ALSTOM Way of Working
Defining Procurement strategy
- Develop commodity strategy with all stakeholders and drive its implementation
- Define supplier target panel in-line with Procurement strategy
- Lead the supplier selection process
Enhance Supplier relationship
- Manage global supplier panel relationship especially on contractualization
- Manage global supplier Quality Cost Delivery & Technical (QCDT) objectives and performance
- Perform regular business reviews and supplier performance reviews, solve major issues
- Drive supplier complex negotiations as appropriate
- Support monitoring of Corporate Social Responsibility engagements and deviations

- Engineering or Business School master degree, with specialization in Purchasing
- Experience in procurement ( 5 to 10 years ) including category management
- Experience in multicultural teams ( minimum 5 years )
- Knowledge of Facility Management
- Finance &/or CAPEX background would be a plus
- Ability to work in a matrix environment
- Communication skills & Team spirit
- Ability to challenge
- Results oriented
- Internal and external influencing skills
- Negotiation and strategic vision
- Fluent in English with international mindset
