PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

  • Ensure consistent Configuration and Change Management process Landscape for all Alstom Regions and Platforms aligned with all cross functional Stakeholder
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on Configuration and Change Management best practice methods, standards, and requirements to individuals responsible for product lifecycle management.
  • Negotiates Standard Configuration Management Requirements, Document’s, Templates with relevant internal partners and regional and project representatives

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develops, maintains and supports the implementation of Configuration & Change Management process standards for Rolling Stock, plans, and procedures together with the CCM Process Development Manager.
  • Ensures changes to the processes and tools are properly approved, communicated and managed throughout the Configuration & Change Management lifecycle.
  • Work in close co-ordination with RSC CCM Lead, CCM Digitalization, CCM Business Process Integrators and to interface functions to ensure process consistency and compliance to interface processes and Norms and Standards
  • Ensure fulfilling the upstream and downstream condition to guarantee proper, consistent and sustainable deployment of CCM standard processes, e.g. Supplier CCM contractual requirements
  • Conducts internal CCM Audits

 

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Graduate ofUniversity/Polytechnic Degree in any of Mechanical Engineering/Project Management/Business Management or equivalent
  • Profound understanding of Configuration & Change Management and how its related processes such as Requirements Mgt, Data Management and Document Control inter-relate with the Business Processes
  • Proven ability to manage interfaces to stakeholder processes
  • Experiences in Business Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Supply Chain, Engineering and Production
  • Fluent English language skills
