PM2020 is an ambitious transformation program to redefine Bids & Projects management landscape (processes, organization, people & skills, tools and data) to make ALSTOM more fluid, agile and project results oriented. 

 

The main objective is to define new Bids and Projects processes, addressing new way of working, delivering new financial outputs with business values. Thus, needs to conduct a Change Management, in relation with support function (Finance) and all métiers contributing to Project execution.  

 

The project is organized in three main pillars:  

  • New Bid and Project Management Process definition 
  • PMO Tools Roadmap evolution (Adaptation of existing tools and contribution to the definition of future tools in close collaboration with IS&T)  
  • Deployment of the program within regional organization (change Management and Training) 

 

In this context PMO (Project Management Office) is setting up a new PM2020 team to realize this transformation across global Alstom organization.  

 

The role of PM2020 Cost Structure Manager is to implement a new Project Accounting Structure based on Subsystems: to link the Project structure and financial structure. 

He/she will be part of PM2020 team and will report to PM2020 Implementation Manager. He/she will work closely with three other PM2020 pillars, as described above. 

 

In this position, the job holder will have the following responsibilities:  

  • To design the new Project structure definition based on Subsystems in line with finance requirements and rules
  • To deploy it in Tender and Project Pilots working with Project Controllers 
  • To implement related lesson learnt for continuous improvement 
  • To apply the new Project Structure to new Projects 
  • To implement Project Physical Progress deployment (Earned Value) 

 

PM2020 Cost Structure Manager will work with an expert team dedicated to PM2020 Implementation Management. 

 

Main Requirements:  

  • Advanced University Degree in engineering and/or Finance 
  • Fluent in English, other language appreciated 
  • Experience of 3 /4 years in Project Controlling Role 
  • Project and/or tender experience 
  • Information Technology understanding: PPM (project portfolio management), ERP (SAP) is a plus
