Purpose of the job:

  • Parts & Overhaul Excellence function for driving Governance of business Processes & Tools (covering : Parts & Repairs spot or frame contracts, TSSSA, VMI contracts, Overhaul activities, Governance between Front & Back offices incl Repairs Centre).

    Central Business Process Owner for Tools (GSI, PartsFolio…) used in the company for Parts & Overhaul activities.

    Measure Performance along mutually with Regions and Supply Chain agreed Objectives/Targets

  • Global Parts & Overhaul Management including Tender/RFQ support to Region on demand; Commercial offerings and Pricing policies definitions, On Demand Support to Regions on Parts & Overhaul contracts along with Localization programs.
  • Manage Parts R&D program with the group of engineering experts for improving alternatives Overhaul Solutions , New solutions in line with Services Portfolio , Solutions validation (Test Bench…) for Sub systems In House Overhaul   for improving competitiveness.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES

Key accountabilities:

  • Define all key Business processes and needs of associated Tools
  • Measure Performance for Parts & Overhaul activities along mutually agreed with All Regions and Supply Chain
  • On demand Tender/RFQ support to Region done on Time with appropriate level of expertize (Pricing, Sourcing, Logistics model)
  • Definition of Commercial offerings and Pricing policies
  • On demand Support to Regions on Parts & Overhaul contracts
  • Manage Parts R&D program – manage group of Engineering expert

Key Job Authorities and Dimensions

  • R&D program of 1,5Meuro
  • Manage Team of 3 people
  • Support on time and high level quality Tender/RFQ support to Region

Performance measurements:   

Yearly Orders/Sales and Gross Margin results vs Budget per Region/  OTD-OTIF, TTQ, Hit Rate results vs Targets per Region

 

EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Education :

  • Master Degree in Engineering
  • International education

Experience required :

  • Team management
  • Regional Rail Business development with Engineering content
  • Ideally 3 years experience in Alstom Parts & Overhaul Business

Competencies :

  • Willing and capable  to take a central function for developing global Parts & Overhaul Governance/processes and competences
  • Willing and capable to participate to global Parts business development
  • Willing and capable to manage Technical/Engineering aspects through R&D program
