We are looking for our new D&IS Market Price Manager based in Saint Ouen.
Your future role
You'll play a pivotal role in optimizing Alstom's competitive positioning by leveraging market insights and supporting the global sales community. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, tender, and platform representatives, to analyze market trends, develop pricing strategies, and identify opportunities for growth.
You’ll specifically take care of supporting the regional organization in determining optimal offer positioning for competitive tenders, but also contribute to the development of innovative methodologies and processes to enhance market price analysis.
We’ll look to you for:
- Leading market price generation for specific business segments to optimize competitive positioning.
- Building a deep understanding of market environments and competitor positioning using collected intelligence.
- Collaborating with regional sales/tender teams to ensure market price accuracy for new tenders.
- Providing sales teams with up-to-date market price information and benchmarks.
- Contributing to win/loss analysis and identifying competitiveness gaps or advances.
- Developing and enhancing market price methodologies, processes, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.

- Degree in Engineering, Business, or an MBA.
- Experience or understanding of sales, bid management, or tendering processes, ideally in the railway industry.
- Knowledge of pricing and costing methodologies.
- Familiarity with working with complex data, particularly using MS Excel.
- A good command of English and French is preferred.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proactive mindset with a drive to improve processes and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
