We are currently looking for our new Market Price Manager. In this role we will look to you to:

 

Lead the market price activities towards the global sales community:
Competitive Intelligence. Understand market environment and competitors positioning.
Work closely with platform and marketing representatives to select relevant benchmark 
Capture requirement of new tender to secure accuracy of market price.
Provide sales teams with up-to-date market price information. 
Be able to demonstrate the reliability of your analysis

 

Work with product platform directors to increase price competitiveness:
Provide platforms with accurate price trends 
Analyze pricing strategies of competitors
Support price competitiveness of our solutions 
 

Become the “go-to” person for all market price-related topics:
Perform ad-hoc analyses on price-related topics for the top-management (accuracy, price opening, price trends)
Undertake deep-dive analyses and return of experience on selected price topics 
Assess the profitability of new business models (if needed)

 

Maintain and improve price database and data analytic tools:
Continuously improve the internal MS Excel models to compute market prices
Regularly collect and understand external and internal price information
Propose ways of improvement thru new data analytics tools or other automation possibilities

 
Profile

Engineering School / Business School / MBA
Foreign language: English and a good level in French
5 years of relevant experience (past experience is not a must have but desirable, fresh graduates with good academic track record will be considered)
Experience in bid- or cost management or sourcing is a plus

 

Competencies & Skills 

Highly comfortable in working with complex data and esp. MS Excel
Business acumen
Good at priority management and flexible for multiple tasks management
Basic knowledge of signaling solutions is a plus
Ability to convince, to make complex subjects easy to understand for all relevant stakeholders
Good communication skills to face many actors in the organization 
Pro-active mindset, eagerness to improve the status-quo
Demonstrate Transparency and Reliability
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization, in a matrixed and international environment
