Manufacturing & Footprint Strategy Manager
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
- Deliver and continuously adapt the manufacturing Footprint strategy to support to the D&IS Product Line and the business operations during ongoing market development, tenders and development projects.
- Deliver and continuously adapt the standard Product Industrial Organizational model, to determine the Core / Non-Core strategy for manufacturing schemes.
- The Manufacturing & Footprint Strategy Manager is a key actor of the Industrial development leveraging the footprint as a key differentiator of our offering.
- Ensure the internal operational manufacturing performance is in accordance with the annual Key Performance Indicators and that the footprint strategy is complementing this.
- Lead the strategy and consolidation for the Global CAPEX need of D&IS Operations business.
- Ensure APSYS Performance & roadmap within the D&IS Manufacturing sites.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
Process development
- Manage the Footprint Development process.
- Manage the CAPEX justification process.
- Manage the Standard PIO implementation and enforcement process.
Network development
- Build a network of Footprint Development “activist”
- Identify key suppliers to support every phase of footprint development with sourcing
- Define and maintain, together with Commodity Management, the Standard Make / Buy model.
Footprint development
- Lead the strategy from the Footprint development point of view
- Participate to the S&OP process in ensuring the Regions have a 3YP capex requirements plan and consolidate and synthesize the view at PL level
- Identify synergies, develop potential savings and market opportunities and propose arbitration choices
- Work on innovative footprint solution and financing scheme elaboration
Maintain the Core/Non-Core Model
- Evaluate the strategy for the Core D&IS business model, for Industrial scope.
- Maintain the Core/Non-Core model and adapt as required in-line with the Engineering and site orientation.

- Footprint development files quality
- Capex vs Capex spend
- Production Performance vs Plan
- Effective Hourly Rate
- Standardisation of Standard PIO within projects
- APSYS Performance
COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:
- Financial reporting, techniques and understanding
- Self-starter, autonomous and comfortable in driving change
- Strategic and strong operational understanding, with Influencing skills
- Familiar with complexity of a matrix organization
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills: collaborative approach, listening, transparency, ability to convince
- Customer orientated
- Strong analytical skills, and ability to synthesize.
- IT tools dexterity: MS Office, documentation (SharePoint, I Learn …), digital training & multimedia, MS Project, AutoCAD viewer
- Language: English fluent, French and/or other language is an plus
