Could you be the full-time Intern in the Development of an Innovative Catenary Measurement System in we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering, design, and manufacturing expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll contribute directly to the development of an innovative system that could transform how we measure and analyze catenaries. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineers, technicians, and project managers), participate in the design of a high-frequency optical sensor, help establish a laboratory testing procedure, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of the 3D modeling of the complete solution and prospecting potential suppliers, but also ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
We’ll look to you for:

Comparing the technical solution with existing products on the market

Developing an innovative system for a high-frequency optical sensor installed on trains

Setting up a testing procedure

Conducting laboratory tests

3D modeling of the complete solution

Ensuring compliance with design standards (e.g., welding rules, safety norms)

Requesting quotes and researching potential suppliers

Collaborating with internal teams to optimize proposed solutions

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (specialization in mechanical engineering or a related field)

Experience or understanding of mechanical construction, design, and manufacturing
