JOB TITLE: Technology monitoring intern on supervision systems and maintainer assistance devices

Located in: Saint-Ouen, France

 

OBJECTIVES OF THE MISSION:

 

  • We are looking for an intern for our Train Operations & System Maintenance department. Within the Performance Improvement teams, your goals will be:
  • Become familiar with the organization of an operation, a maintenance project and the maintenance plans of the railway system in order to understand the need.
  • Contribute to defining the need by applying system engineering methods.
  • Evaluate the usage constraints linked to the implementation of monitoring tools (compatibility with railway safety rules, security of IT systems, cost of ownership, etc.)
  • Seek monitoring solutions from internal employees, suppliers and competitors that would ultimately reduce maintenance effort or improve the quality of the service provided.
  • Write the technical specifications as well as a summary on the use of monitoring systems and support devices for the maintainer


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MISSION:

You will be in charge of the following missions:

Internal and external contact (with suppliers) for technological monitoring work and analysis of constraints, This research will be done in coordination with the relevant procurement departments and also with maintenance engineering engineers.

  • Definition of the need using systems engineering methods,
  • To develop technical-economic models to evaluate the contribution of the systems studied.
  • Compiling the data collected into technical specifications, which will detail the operation of the monitoring solution and its various ramifications in the system where it operates.


This research can be done in France and abroad with travel to plan.

 

PROFILE:

Level of training: Master 1/ Master 2

Technical Skills:

IT Engineering,
Electrical Engineering,
Knowledge of maintenance
Windows Office (Word, Excel, Power Point…)

Behavioral skills:

Autonomous and proactive;
Ability to interact with suppliers;
Ability to write and present;
Fluency in written and spoken English and French.


Contract: 6 mouths, from the 1st of June 2024
