Alstom Corporate Treasury is looking for an intern to accompany the Group Cash Policies Manager on the ongoing transformation projects.

 

The intern will evolve in an international environment and will be exposed to projects which are transforming the current set up of Treasury department and its level of services for the Group subsidiaries. These projects are under scrutiny by Senior Management. He/she will be assigned to various cross-function missions, including:

  • Deploy the new bank account set up following the conclusion of a worldwide Request for Proposal and the associated change management in ERPs, payroll systems, in cooperation with the Country Treasurers (US, Canada, Europe, Mexico), I&ST teams
  • Contribute to the redefinition of a Group cash forecast process, which is essential for the Group overall Finance Community to gain in efficiency and accuracy
  • Monitor the e-banking platforms’ compliance with the Group policy using BI tools developed for the purpose
  • Work closely with other Treasury departments (Cash Management, Treasury Project, etc.) on various key topics (Payment On Behalf Of initiative launched, new Treasury Management System Deployment and other ad-hoc project)

 

Profile

 

  • We are looking for dynamic candidates who have strong analytical and synthesis skills, and have proven in past experience to be rigorous
  • Fluency in English and confirmed proficiency of Excel and PowerPoint are imperative
  • The internship is open to students with master’s degree in finance / Treasury, in their last year or doing a gap year of business school majoring in Finance.
