Alstom is recruiting a Train System Engineer / Train Performance Manager for its Railway Rolling Stock division located in Saint-Ouen, near Paris. In order to develop railway projects for the French and international market, you will be in charge to:

 

•Analyze the technical specification of our customers

•Define a rolling stock architecture meeting customer requirements

•Specify the train sub-systems: bogie, motor, auxiliary converter, air conditioning, braking, battery.

•Follow up the validation of those sub-systems

•Define and specify the functionalities of the embedded software

•Validate the train on test ring or on customer track

 

Being integrated into multicultural project teams, you will develop your skills progressively in the railway domain.

 

Profile:

•Automatic, electrical or mechanical engineering, with basic notions in IT

•Use of standard office tools

•Fluent English and French

•Frequent travels in France and abroad, with possible short-term missions (a few months) during the validation of trains

•Rigor, autonomy and team working

•A previous experience in the railway industry is a positive asset.
