PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Assess the market: Customers’ requirements, competition and trends.
  • Support the promotion of the existing portfolio internally and externally.
  • Management and update of projects references & certificates database.
  • Support business development and pre-tendering activity with marketing material.
  • Liaise with the marketing and communication team, concerning the Platform’s need.
  • Ensure the Platform’s representation on the key events / fairs / conferences / congresses.

Your mission

Reporting to the Infrastructure Market & Portfolio Director, you will support on the development and deployment the marketing strategy concerning the Infrastructure portfolio of both products & solutions (Urban / ML / HS / E-bus markets).

  • Assess the market
    • Gather Market intelligence on customer’s needs. Clarify customers’ business models. Support in identifying  areas where value can be created.
    • Gather Market intelligence on Competitors profiles. Identify competition differentiators and define AT differentiating factors.
    • Competition analysis. Benchmark other markets and industries
  • Promote the Infrastructure portfolio:
    • Create / Update the sales toolkit: Datasheets, case studies, videos, content of Sales.com & Sales app…
    • Internal promotion: Product Launch Webinar, training material + Virtual classrooms, manage the Chatter groups of the platform.
    • Active education and pushing of All Infra products to the Regions.
    • Provide training to the sales & marketing communities
    • Participate to events (fairs, congresses, exhibitions) & manage the global events list.
  • Support business development:
    • To liaise with the regions for updating the references & certificate database on all new infra and systems projects.
    • Support the regions on pre-qualifications by providing data sheets, project references, certificates, homologations.
    • Help regions to adapt their communication and promotion material.

 

Your profile

  • Experience in Marketing, Strategy or Bids.
  • You are interested in the technical knowledge of the products & solutions, and have the capacity to absorb the complexities quickly, and transform these into marketing vocabulary.
  • Fluent in French & English, additional languages are a plus.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to run workshops, present externally (customer meetings, conferences)
  • Excellent skills in MS office, Excel & Power Point in particular.
  • Broad knowledge of the railway environment and engineering practices, in particular at the Infra/System level.
  • Good co-ordination and communication (both written and oral)
  • Ability to solve problems by being collaborative, creative and analytical
  • Team player, good networking skills in matrix organization
  • Autonomy, accountability, organization, rigour
  • High reactivity, proactivity and adaptability

 

Deliverables & Performance measurements

  • Wall-C reporting (Alstom CRM): continuously screen opportunities for Commercial Carousel
  • Market & Competition analysis (with support of M&C) presented in PLR
  • Customer Needs Review (CNR) (with the support of the Regions)
  • Product Portfolio update (twice a year)
  • External & internal up-to-date promotion tools
  • Management of the Database for pre-qualification (data sheets, references, etc).
  • Infrastructure Order Intake (through pre-qualifications and products promotion)
