The IS&T Business Partner of Villeurbanne site (D&IS), reporting hierarchically to the France IS&T Business Partner and functionally to the site Managing Director, is responsible for collecting and assessing business demands, being the main contact for all IT related topics bringing together central IT and Villeurbanne business teams, supporting the execution of centrally and locally driven projects, and ensuring strong services in IT operations. He is also responsible for Villeurbanne labs management, collecting and assessing new demands related to the labs and maintaining the expected level of security in Villeurbanne labs.

 

Main responsibilities 

Business Relationship Management

  • Collect & assess local demands & ensure integration in the global roadmap if relevant
  • Support the deployment of global roadmap (projects, solutions, infrastructure,..)
  • Represent IS&T function in the Site Management Committee

Service Management

  • Ensure overall satisfaction, including mitigations and improvement plans in cooperation with central teams
  • Drive and support IS&T scope for audit / ICQ processes (internal control questionnaire)
  • Consolidate feedback and requirements for users and escalate to the relevant IS&T organization
  • Approve local demands

Costs Tracking

  • Prepare and manage the budget for IT costs at site level supporting site controller in the budget exercise
  • Ensure budget control and adherence
  • On labs scope, ensure strong costs tracking and allocation/re-invoicing to the right budget owner (customer project, program development, IS&T fee)

Change Management & Communication

  • Promote global services and solutions, ensure regular communication related to the site and beyond
  • Accompany site users in understanding the IT offer

Team Management

  • Manage local operations teams when applicable
  • Coordinate local service partner

Governance Management

  • Set-up and manage the proper governance on site, i.e. lab efficiency, obsolescence, security,…
  • Ensure attendance and representativity of the right stakeholders

Manage labs on a day-to-day

  • Ensure availability of machines for development and tests
  • Manage incidents in the labs and escalate when appropriate
  • Deliver environments required on a timely manner
  • Decommission unused environments when applicable

Manage demands for new labs

  • Support Villeurbanne site to qualify new needs and challenge when needed
  • Work closely with the D&IS Business Partner and related team to define strong labs patterns and already available environments, and promote the re-use of existing and working patterns  

Maintain configuration in labs

  • Ensure the right configurations are defined, from the PC config associated with products / projects to the host needed, the tools or solutions installed, the software and associated licenses and target equipment used
  • Find the most sustainable to maintain these configuration over time
  • Ensure labs are accessed (physically and virtually) only by authorized staff

Manage security in labs

  • Deploy the security patterns adapted to labs (adapted to internal and customer context)
  • Support the development of the right security patterns when not existing
  • React timely on security incidents following required procedures (up to decommissioning infected machines)
  • Promote, ensure and maintain expected level of security deployed by security team on all devices and solutions deployed by IS&T or contractor

 

Main required competencies 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)
  • Business Administration or Computer Science (desirable) 
  • 7-10 years of experience in similar role (mandatory)
