The mission of the Forex and Project Accounting Senior Analyst is :

  •  
  • to support the business to deliver performance through the application of (a) the forex and project accounting policies for the Group and (b) processes and best practices on Alstom finance tools and internal policies,
  • to be part of the development of the Finance community thanks to contribution (a) to training courses creation and updates and (b) to animation of the Global / Region accounting Network,
  • to ensure application of forex accounting models,
  • to provide support to Finance Efficiency related to ERP process improvements,
  • to support local teams on Functional Currency setup and related IAS 21 and IFRS 9 topics.

 

The Forex and Project Accounting Senior Analyst is an IFRS specialist on technical subjects related to Forex and project accounting for the benefit of Regions & Business (ex. Tenders and Projects accounting, Forex, Functional Currency) and the guardian of the rules.

 

You have :

  • A Master from Business school (or equivalent high school degree)
  • English proficiency (mandatory) - Additional language a plus
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ Audit experience or equivalent
  • Some experience / knowledge in Forex and long term contracts business
  • Knowledge of SAP BFC or other consolidation tool
  • Good experience of ERP SAP is a plus

 

You are able to : 

  • Use reasoned judgement
  • With an analytical mind
  • Understand the full accounting process from theoretical normative rules to entries into ERP
  • Manage several topics at the same time
  • Demonstrate ability to set priorities
  • Use accounting, reporting and consolidation tools as well as Finance BO
