The Finance Business Intelligence Analyst will be a member of the of the Finance Transformation team, at the heart of ALSTOM’s central Finance departments.

 

You will have as primary goals and objectives to listen to business needs in order to translate them into new/existing BI applications (mainly Qlik product).

Applications are based either on Alstom consolidation tool (SAP BFC internally named Teranga) and on ERP tools (internally named GSI or G4 for the main one).


As BI expert inside the Financial Team, the scope of intervention is wide (from the script writing to get the data to the creation of objects inside the application).

Your responsibilities include:
•    Modification/Adaptation of the existing tool to users’ needs (Qlik applications)
•    Participation to the maintenance, evolution and development of Qlik tools (QlikView and QlikSense)

•    Seek and propose new solutions/way of working
•    Development/Creation of training packs and animation of training session for end-user
•    Standardization of tools and processes in close collaboration with other Finance department
•    Ensure that tools and processes implemented are aligned to the quality level required by Alstom Group.

 
Main stakeholders can be classified as follow:
•    Recurring internal client : All Financial department (mainly FP&A, Consolidation, SAP BFC Reporting Center, GSI Finance Business Process Owners (BPO))
•    Potential internal client : Sites from all over the world, support functions, transversal functions
•    Internal Partners : IS&T

 

Requested profile:

You already have 5 years of experience in a Finance BI department,
You have a finance controlling expertise and a strong IT appetite,
You have a good Understanding of Finance ERPs & Systems (SAP BFC (or another financial consolidation tool) is a plus) and Qlik product,

You have knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.

You like to ease day-to-day activities of financial people, throughout the development of dedicated information,
You demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to guide, influence and convince others, while working in an international & diverse organization.
