Job Purpose :


Participating to CBTC signaling solutions deployment, your role will consists in participating to the activities of System Integration and Validation in factory, including the correct setup of the Factory Integration and Validation Platform. The Factory System Integration and Validation Engineer reports to the System Validation Group Manager and contributes to ensure the delivery of a System in compliance with the project contractual requirements.




As a Factory System Integration and Validation Engineer, you will be in charge of:

  • Writing the test procedures that will ensure that system testing in factory guarantees a correct implementation of the project requirements (functional, operationnal, performance and safety requirements)
  • Setting up the test platforms by deploying the objects under test and analysis, as well as the simulation environment  
  • Participating to the test procedures execution, and recording the needed elements to demonstrate the correct test execution:
    • System Integration tests, to validate the start-up tests (post installation) for sub-system interfaces
    • System Correspondence tests, to check the validity and consistency of interface data exchanged between various sub-systems
    • System Functional Validation tests, to perform the project specific Functional Validation Testing activity
    • System Operation & Performance tests, to demonstrate RAM, Robustness, Endurance, Redundancy objectives
  • Supporting the project design teams during the non-conformities analysis
  • Reproducing and investigating in factory issues encountered during on-site tests
  • Contributing to the Factory System I&V report which gives the conclusion and analysis of the test session (test results, non-conformities detected, potential identified restrictions to be applied during on-site activities)




Engineering degree, experience + 3 years , significant testing experience, preferably on industrial systems having reliability or safety constraints.

Linguistic capabilities: French and English
