Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.

We are looking for our next RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) Department Manager in Saint-Ouen.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and RAM engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, dynamic, and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a key role in influencing the design choices of our products and technical solutions, ensuring resilience is embedded into our decision-making processes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (project teams, engineering disciplines such as system, hardware, software, verification and validation, as well as cybersecurity, safety, tenders, procurement, installation, warranty, and maintenance teams), interact with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and the global RAM community of D&IS, and manage and develop a team of 20 RAM engineers based in Saint-Ouen and Villeurbanne.

You’ll specifically take care of implementing RAM principles throughout lifecycle phases, but also ensuring that decisions and choices comply with regulations, customer requirements, and Alstom’s RAM principles.

We’ll look to you for

  • Managing the RAM discipline within the D&IS France region and sites.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of 20 RAM engineers.
  • Overseeing workload distribution and resource balance (skills, capacity, recruitment processes, etc.).
  • Continuously improving the RAM discipline in close collaboration with the D&IS RAM Director and the RAM Center of Excellence.
  • Ensuring quality, cost, and timely delivery for activities related to tenders, projects, and programs.
  • Acting as the RAM authority for France and driving the development of the RAM discipline across D&IS France sites.
  • Ensuring the correct application of Alstom’s standard RAM processes, methods, and tools, while maintaining high-quality RAM activities and deliverables.
  • Ensuring the satisfaction of internal and external customers as well as the acceptance of RAM deliverables.
