As our new Engineering and PLM Lead Architect you will be reporting to the Digital Services Engineering Solutions Director and , you are responsible for the solution architecture for Alstom's Engineering & PLM solutions supporting business processes.

YOUR MISSION

• Define and maintain a long-term solutions roadmap and strategy (3+ years), aligning with business strategic stakes, vision, value, solutions architecture, vendor roadmaps, global capabilities, budgets, operating models, obsolescence management, and compatibility with technical and security standards.
• Proactively anticipate solution evolutions through regular internal & external benchmarks and market watch.
• Translate the 3+ year strategy into a 1-year rolling project portfolio, collaborating with Business, Finance Control, Procurement, and PMO.
• Conduct pre-studies, deliver high-level and detailed solution designs, and support project execution.
• Assist operations teams with critical production incidents.
• Manage, develop, and grow a pool of talented architects and experts on Engineering solutions (10+ people).

To be considered, candidates should demonstrate:

• An engineering degree with over 15 years of experience in Engineering & PLM solutions, including roles in business/functional architecture, core model definition, and solution deployment.
• Solid knowledge on Engineering product development processes from industrial companies designing complex products.
• Experience working for global companies as a customer and/or service provider
• Strong solution architecture definition skills, particularly on Dassault Systemes 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
• Leadership in managing solution architects and experts, and enthusiasm for developing talent.
• Strong communication skills, efficiency, ability to decide and execute, intellectual curiosity, creativity, and result orientation.
• Fluent English and willingness to work autonomously in an international environment, facing Alstom's new challenges.
