Purpose of the Job

Within the Center of Excellence Electrical, you will manage hierarchically the S&A, EHI and Advance Indus resources and their activities on a dedicated project. You will manage functionally a TDL (responsible of Cubicles design) and be responsible of all electrical engineering deliverables impacting electrical harness and cabinets.

Functional:       Train Electrical Engineer (TEE)

Engineering: Other ED entities, Advanced Indus Team, Costing Team…

Project: TEE

Sourcing Department (Buyers), Indus Department, Manufacturing, Quality Department, etc…

External Interface : Subcontractors

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Quality, Cost and Delivery of CoE deliverables: Train & Cubicle Harnesses detail design and industrialization
  • Operational management of Electrical team allocated on the project based on several sites.
  • Ensure interfaces with Train Electrical Engineer on rolling stock sites and Harness/Cubicle Manufacturing sites…
  • Managing internal and external resources allocated on activities (workload, planning, work package reviews, risks…) and share with CoE Operation Manager.
  • Leading design reviews and deliverables reviews with TEE
  • Ensure followup with TEE
  • Supporting continuous improvement of the domain
  • Review of Harness production on manufacturing site (travels)
  • Management of setup with harness manufacturing site (change management for setup)
  • Review of first Harness mounting on assembly site (travels)
  • Management of electrical configuration (upgrade with modifications)

 

 

Knowledge & Experience :

Railways Electrical engineering knowledges at least on one of the three domains (S&A, EHI or Indus) but more is a plus.

Hands-on experience in electrical CAD (scheme or CAD 3D or wiring tools) of at least 3 years

Minimum 2 years of experience in activity/team management

Train systems/functions knowledge

Good knowledge for Electrical Integration

Spoken and written English is mandatory

 

Hierachical Management of team from 3 to 5

Travels: average 20% of the time
