Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Plan & organize Project
    • Plan/organize the delivery of assigned projects according to given budget and pin accordance with the Global roadmap, Governance process & standard IS&T operating model
    • Optimize delivery model following defined sourcing strategy
    • Propose & implement initiatives to optimize plan / cost / quality
    • Ensure that Project activities follow standard methodology, process and tools
    • Apply templates and records to document Project activities following our standards
  • Staff Project
    • Define the capacity plan, skill matrix and adapt the sourcing model
    • Run sourcing process in collaboration with Sourcing dept.
    • Ensure that capacity plan for the Project is maintained timely
  • Lead Project
    • Ensure the drive of the project, by taking the appropriate actions to stick with given budget, plan and quality level
    • Manage the Project plan – scope / resources and tasks
    • Manage Project interdependencies
    • Identify and mitigate risks – drive out barriers to success, escalate as needed
    • Manage Project staff by providing direction, input and feedback
    • Manage Project partners
    • Communicate with Alstom stakeholders and community to get support for the Project
  • Control Project
    • Report in a timely manner Project status by following standards
    • Ensure that the Project operate within the approved budget / scope
    • Monitor all budgeted Project expenditures
    • Monitor forecast and report actual / cost at risk
    • Ensure that all financial records for the Project are up to date
    • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with Project activities and take appropriate action to control the risk


To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:     

  • Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology, you have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management or IS&T Management (project management certifications preferred, experience of large scale / global programs is required). You have a strong knowledge and experience of ERP/MES systems, especially SAP and/or DELMIA Apriso solutions. You also have a minimum of 5-years experience in coordinating and/supporting IS&T business processes.
  • As a manager you demonstrate strong communication, leadership and change management skills. You have the ability to engage effectively with Executive level stakeholders. Program Directors require solid scheduling and budgeting experience. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity 
  • Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom
