POSITION IN THE ORGANISATION
Reports directly to: Ethics & Compliance Officer – Director of Integrity
ACCOUNTABILITIES & AUTHORITIES
Key accountabilities:
- Supporting the Ethics & Compliance Officer – Director of Integrity in the design and implementation of the company integrity program, in particular:
- Key role in supporting the post-closing integration of Bombardier Transportation’s legal entities and employees into Alstom’s integrity program
- Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of Alstom’s integrity program – Code of Ethics, supporting instructions, etc.
- Supporting the Director of Integrity in managing the company’s integrity program related policies, procedures and guidelines, including development, implementation and monitoring of E&C legal and group training program
- Supporting the organization, preparation and implementation of the Yearly Integrity Review, and support implementation of the action plan arising therefrom
- Support any update of the Integrity Program to ensure continued compliance with the international legal frame (e.g.: OECD anti-bribery convention, FCPA, UK Bribery Act, Sapin II, etc.)
- Key role in supporting the continued digitalization of the company’s integrity program
- Support the Director of Integrity in the provision of strategic guidance on any Integrity program related matter to the business and the company’s regional legal departments and regional compliance officers
- Support responses to information requests from public or multi-national authorities, investors, finance institutions
- Support deployment of the Alstom Integrity Program at Alstom Headquarters, the Regions, Countries and sites
- Support the promotion of the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct
- Support the establishment of the yearly communication plan in liaison with the Communications Function and strong involvement in communication of E&C messages at group level, Regional, Country and E&C Ambassador level
- Support the E&C Ambassadors’ community
- Support other E&C special projects.
EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES & REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
University degree in program management (e.g. law, business administration, project management, audit, finance)
Desirable:
MBA in E&C
Experience
Mandatory:
- 5 years+ of experience in a professional field of Ethics & Compliance
- Similar experience in an international business
- Solid experience in legal and regulatory matters
- Excellent English language skills – oral and written
Desirable:
- Awareness of data privacy regulations is a plus for this position
