Could you be the Train System Architect in Saint Ouen, close to Paris we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field.

You will be part of the Digital Train Program and Train System Central Team (TSO) working alongside multicultural environment.

You'll play a pivotal role in enabling Alstom's organization transition toward a Software-defined Train, contributing to the development of a Services-oriented Architecture at system level.
- You’ll take the lead of the essential stream to develop the reference library related to the essential functions and by applying the model-based methodology and continuous delivery process.
- You’ll work closely with domain specialist engineers, sub-systems / components engineers and other key stakeholders to re-engineer system functional architecture towards a highly upgradable and scalable system.
- You'll bring your expertise to the Train System Community participating to the Engineering Network worldwide.
- You'll contribute to strategic roadmaps in line with the Rolling Stock & Component Platforms.
We’ll look to you for:
- Developing and sustaining logical items off-cycle for the systems and components view.
- Defining, assessing and formalizing the scope split (functional, constructional, interfaces) of Train Sub-Systems
- Defining the V&V strategy and test means related to the essential layer (scope)
- Ensuring sizing system capabilities for target topologies and integration of related modeling & simulation tools in SdT tools chain
- Making the interface with the domain specialist to ensure optimal-performances and proper definition of “law control”
- Governing the reference library for the essential layer and related data (functions, components models…)

- Degree in engineering or a related field
- Engineer degree (Master's) in a relevant field
- 10 years of relevant experience in an engineering environment
- Solid system engineering background
- Completion of one full project cycle (from definition up to operation)
- Broad knowledge of hardware & electrical architecture
- Holistic approach with System-of-systems thinking
- Work in an agile way with team spirit, entrepreneurship and drive close collaboration with all stakeholders
- Capable of leading trade-studies and make decision
- Good and efficient communication
- Result driven & customer focus
