Train Design métier team is in charge to define, deploy and implement processes, métier rules and standard solutions for all rolling stock and components mechanical  population worldwide. Within Central Engineering in Saint-Ouen, in the Train Design métier team, we are looking for a Development logic Engineer, in charge of process definition, including deliverable sample & implementation monioring


Purpose of the Job

1st mission : Provide deliverable samples to support project development organisation change, and participate to project POC

Then : Opitimise development logic and particiate to projects with an Interface manager  role.


Accountable to define & maintain :

  • The developemt logic reference,
  • "Good examples" for all interface deliverables between Train level and SBS level

Responsible to

  • Specify the process and check it implemtnations into schedule and process mapping tools
  • when needed, upgrade Procedure, dask boad, KPI, according to organisational changes
  • Select examples from fitting standard solution, carbodshell, traction & bogi, and provide deliverable samples for each maturity step
  • Define operational KPI for interface management (convergence from tender to train Integration review during 1st trains production)
  • Manage the competencies related to interface management
  • Act as "interface manager within projects", in order to test & measure efficientcy of related process, rules, tools and guidelines.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Technical knowlege in train architecture
  • Catia & FTA capability
  • Good Communications and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated capability to train teams
  • Demonstrated structuration capabilities
  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical assembly
  • English operational in read/writing and technical meetings.

Impact on operational results

  • Secure architecture QCD, including in particular carry over target respect


  • Contributes to a change from cartesian to system engineering and then thurther toward nodal Engineering
