Purpose of the Job
Key Accountabilities

Manage the RBC engineering scope
- Ensure completeness and consistency of the RBC technical solution (application, platform, parameterisation)
- Manage functional specifications (route setting, locking principles)

Lead the engineering delivery of the RBC scope
- Build and maintain the RBC engineering delivery plan
- Monitor progress, risks and priorities
- Report to the Project Engineering Manager

Manage changes and requirements
- Pilot change requests (CRs) and backlog
- Integrate customer change requests into the engineering scope
- Ensure alignment between requirements, design and delivered solution

Ensure stakeholder coordination
- Interface with customer engineering teams (SNCF DT2i)
- Coordinate with RBC development centre (Charleroi, Belgium)
- Collaborate with system engineering teams and other subsystems

Support Project Engineering Management
- Contribute to technical decisions and arbitration
- Prepare inputs for project reviews and governance
- Support overall engineering coordination
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in railway engineering
- Experience in a leadership role (System Leader, Technical Leader, or similar)
- Strong experience in railway signalling systems, preferably:
- European Train Control System (ETCS)
- Radio Block Centre (RBC)
Technical Competencies
- Good knowledge of system engineering and V-cycle development
- Confirmed knowledge of RBC systems and environment
- Experience in:
- Technical scope management
- Engineering delivery management
- Multi-interface system coordination
