Main missions:

• Transform depot engineering / sizing input to construction specifications and detail for the discipline

• Develop and promote internal standards and references for depots and associated infrastructures and buildings
• Gather and manage REx and benchmark from internal and best market projects
• Lead and update the baseline costing of the standards and references.

Key accountabilities:

Nota: Depot Solutions rely on several different disciplines, the current JD is generic for all of them (civil, tracks, OHP, equipment, etc…)

• Express the depot functional need into detailed specifications for the discipline solution
• Manage standard references for the discipline in specifications, drawings, benchmarks and REx
• Manage for the discipline the RefSol costing baseline, jointly with required costing details and Regional sensitivity
• Collect and manage broadest normative specificities and construction usages per country, cross-fertilize when interesting
• Develop and maintain for the discipline a comprehensive set of solutions alternatives, showing pros and cons of each
• Participate to tender support for the discipline through gap analysis and impact evaluation of the requirement vs RefSol
• Support projects in execution for the discipline with design reviews & validation, standard reference use, and cost challenge
• Develop and maintain for the discipline a REx library
• Manage interface for the discipline with Construction Engineering / Expertise companies for delivering references, costing and any specific documentation needed for Reference Library or Projects.

Educational Requirements:

Mandatory:

• Graduate in Construction or Industrial Engineering field
• Fluent English

Desirable:

• Railway Engineering expertise
• Railway Construction Engineering field (“discipline”) expertise (civil, structural, HVAC / MEP, electrical infra, trackwork, etc…)

Experience

Mandatory:

• 5-10 years in Railway Industry
• Construction projects in industrial buildings and/or railways infrastructures

Desirable:

• Rolling Stock portfolio
• Railway Maintenance Industrial Engineering
• Field/Depot Experience
• Project management
• Bid Management
