Purpose of the Job
Healthhub Signalling is the condition monitoring and predictive maintenance digital solution developed by Alstom to improve the availability and the Life Cycle Cost of Urban and Mainline Transportation Signalling assets and systems.
As part of the Diagnostic and Maintenance System (or Healthhub Signalling) Program, the Analytics SAA will lead the design and implementation of Data architecture and solutions, acting as a key technical partner within the DMS Program teams and in close collaboration with the business stakeholders, System and development teams.


In the following description the System represents the Diagnostic and Maintenance System (or Healthhub Signalling).

In this role, the Data Analytics Architect will, during Program execution and in close collaboration with the DMS System team, the concerned projects teams, Alstom solutions teams, Mobility Analytics development team, and the Data Science team,

  • For a System feature, understand the related functional needs and provide a Service-Oriented architecture solution;
  • Define and Implement Data architectures suiting to the contexts of projects needs;
  • In interface with the UI Development team, define the needs of End-user Apps, and ensure that the UI development suits the needs;
  • Provide detailed analysis of the solution and the resulting impacts on the components and the Data pipeline;
  • Follow-up the data Engineering pipeline, and ensure that the data preparation suits the needs and the expected performance;
  • In interface with the Data Science team, follow-up the model training, deployment and monitoring;
  • Follow-up the development of the functional device until the End-user Apps;
  • Propose System evolutions to the DMS Program Manager according to Return on Experience captured on the program or projects execution as well as the needs collected from the different teams.


During tender execution and in collaboration with the Bid team, the Analytics SAA will:

  • Identify the Analytics gaps for the DMS Program and perform the associated gap Analysis;
  • Identify the core developments that need to be done.


Organizational Reporting

  • Hierarchical report to the Healthhub Signalling System Program Manager
  • Functional report to the DMS Program Manager


Educational, Technical & Soft Skills

  • A Master's degree in Engineering, Computer science, or related field is required for this role along with at least 5 years of experience in supervision or diagnostic system SW development
  • 5 years of have experience in industry is required; Signalling industry or Smart mobility experience would be appreciated;
  • Good knowledge on Data architectures (On prem & Cloud)
  • Experience in Data Engineering / Data pipeline management required;
  • Experience in High availability & performant architectures would be appreciated;
  • Certification Big Data or Cloud computing appreciated;
  • Experience & Good knowledge of Kafka, API management, Oracle/SQL server/Postgre SQL, Elastic Seach/Kibana, Spark/Streaming, open API, Linux
  • Good vision of Data governance
  • Good knowledge of some of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python, Spark;
  • Machine Learning knowledge appreciated;
  • Strong teamwork and a dynamic person is required;
  • The job will be located in France with travels;
  • Fluent written and spoken English is required;
  • Experience of working with Indian culture people is a plus.
