PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Define the Data Science roadmap for the Advanced Maintenance Analytics team
- Manage the team of Data Scientists in the A.M.A. organisation

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Together with the Development & Growth Manager, develop monitoring strategies which fulfil the business objectives of the company in terms of Maintenance Cost reduction and Availability increase in the projects where Alstom has a Maintenance Contract
- Define the R&D roadmap for Data Science, explore new methodologies to be applied to the different subsystems and data scenarios of our projects
- Deliver analytics which fulfil the necessary KPIs as defined by the A.M.A. Director (Sensitivity, Specificity, etc…)
- Manage the professional development of his/her team, the annual people management cycle and the day-by-day activities (workload, motivation, support)
- Manage an R&D Workpackage to be used on make or buy activities.
- Build a collaborative and supportive relationship with his/her peers to foster Innovation, Continuous Improvement and successful Deployment of our Analytics Solutions
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
Engineering or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics or similar field
Experience
Mandatory:
Experience of at least 5 years of Data Science in an Industrial environment
Desirable:
- Experience in the transportation industry
- Experience in a Services Organization
Competencies & Skills
- Fluent in English, French is a plus
- Knowledge of the main Machine Learning paradigms and their characteristics to be able to choose the most relevant for our applications
- Knowledge of R and Python
- Basic knowledge of MLOps methodologies
