Could you be the full-time Train Functional Architect - Control Engineer in Saint Ouen (Paris) we’re looking for?


Your future role:

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive system design expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and innovative teammates.

You'll shape the future of transportation by designing complex control systems for our trains. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Safety, Availability, and Software Design), define the scope of technical aspects, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of developing functional train architectures and detailed software solutions, but also contribute to the validation of train functional integration.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Analyzing and consolidating functional requirements at the train level

  • Elaborating on train functional architectures with a focus on safety and performance

  • Developing and selecting suitable functional architectures and design solutions

  • Ensuring timely key decisions for functional architectures and system technologies

  • Specifying software solutions and overseeing their development and testing

  • Verifying and tuning functional design through simulation and test specification

  • Reporting on project progress, risks, and key performance indicators

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field

  • Experience or understanding of control systems within the rail industry

  • Knowledge of system and sub-systems analysis

  • Familiarity with configuration and product management

  • A certification in project management or systems engineering

  • Proficiency in design and simulation tools

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
