In this role, the continuous Improvement Manager for D&IS (Digital & Integrated Systems) will:

 

  • Lead transverse continuous improvement missions within the D&IS Operations (and potentially adjacent) landscape, animate global / regional / site-level initiatives (including Alstom Production System - APSYS), and ensure sound performance management across all Operations functions in compliance with centrally defined process governance and guidelines

  • Be a champion for culture change, process standardization, simplification & improvement, and collaboration across sites/functions

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

 

  • Drive continuous improvement across the full value stream of D&IS Operations

  • Drive process standardization & simplification across global D&IS factory landscape

  • Help develop & deliver training on Lean Management & Six Sigma methods/tools

  • Help lead APSYS via awareness, trainings, deployments, assessments & follow-up

  • Assist function/site managers in establishing process flows & improvement roadmaps

  • Aid improvement plans execution by leading workouts and other on-site events

  • Create and implement global strategy to reduce cycle time, inventory, and waste

  • Implement appropriate KPIs and operating rhythms to ensure full alignment and visibility

  • Encourage use of lean tools in flows between suppliers & customers (internal & external)

  • Foster cross-site problem solving & best practice sharing across all factory sites

  • Ultimately, use continuous improvement methodologies to achieve quantifiable business results

 

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:

 

  • 5+ years relevant experience in an operations management field

  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional change/improvement

  • Fluent English with international mindset (any French appreciated)

  • Strong interpersonal & leadership skills

  • Ability to influence and convince

  • Solid change management skills to lead change across sites/regions or functions

  • Resilient, pragmatic and solution oriented

  • Reliable, autonomous, results and customer services oriented

  • Strong experience / knowledge of industrial & supply chain operations management

  • Experience in project management and handling multiple stakeholders

  • Demonstrates sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills

  • Strong presentation and editorial skills
