The Commodity Leader, reporting to the Commodity Manager, will have the following responsibilities :
- Strong involvement in and implementation of Indirect Procurement commodity strategies on HR Recruitment / Outplacement, Training, Relocation, Total rewards, Payroll, translation, HR consulting

Manage operational needs for HQ

Manage global panel providers (BR, FA, etc.)

Responsible for commodity QCDT and supplier performance management

Support our Indirect Procurement network and ensure compliance with commodity strategy

Dashboards reviews and management
-
Animate Savings Plan
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES OF THE ROLE:
Supplier relationship:
-
Manage global and HQ RFQs from end-to-end
-
Negotiate Frame Agreements with main global players
-
Ensure global QCDT targets achievement
-
Lead supplier QCDT performance reviews
-
Respect Alstom code of ethics and guidelines.
Commodity support:

Commodity representative to support Procurement maturity
-
Consolidation of commodity needs
-
Build and propose differentiation for the company through supplier innovation
-
Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
-
Define a strategy for specific segment according to delegation
-
Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving

Apply the Alstom Procurement process, and provide return on experience

Actively participate to challenge our Procurement KPIs

Build Procurement Tender Commitment
Operational involvement:

In charge of operational buyer activity on consulting needs for HQ

Operational Procurement responsibility on negociation, cross sites/PLs bundling
-
Lead Saving Plan by leveraging Design to Cost, LCC, Volumes... (all savings levers)
Performance measurements:

Savings P&L and Cost to Complete

Non-Conformities Report and On time Delivery

FAI on time
-
Panel situation Supplier compliancy status rate
PROFILE:
To be considered for this role, candidate need to be able to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:
Educational Degree
- Business School or Engineering school and MASTER in Purchasing
Technical Competencies required for the role
- Minimum of five years working experience in purchasing and industry field
- An experience in HR purchasing will be a plus
- Technical and strong market knowledge of the commodity
- Ability to negotiate Global Frame Agreement including understanding of all legal clauses
Behavioral Competencies
- Fluent English mandatory
- International background
- Indirect procurement mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, communication, ability to convince and work with top management)
