In the Couplers & Gangways commodity, we are looking for our future buyer colleague.

As part of your work-study mission, you will be involved in supporting the Commodity Leader on Rolling Stock projects.

During this mission, you will be able to develop the following skills:

• Commercial negotiation and contracting
• Deploy and support the procurement strategy
• Ensure project execution in line with QCDT objectives
• Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
• Monitor day to day suppliers performances and issues
• Apply the ALSTOM procurement process
• Respect ALSTOM code of ethics and guidelines

Job Interest

• Work in international and technical environment with strong sourcing skills and processes
• Strategic overview on international project
• The mission including economic, technical and quality related tasks

Profile

Our ideal colleague should comply with the followings:

• Engineer or Master Degree in purchasing/sourcing with a first internship in industry is an asset.
• Good relationship building and communication skills
• Autonomy and pro-activity
• Dynamic,  synthetic and analytic thinking
• Computer literacy: Excel and Powerpoint mandatory
• Ease of integration within an International environment: English speaking
• Open-minded and interest of international business

Contract

Apprenticeship of 12 months starting September 2023
