Votre futur rôle :

Relevez un nouveau défi et mettez à profit votre expertise en conception et en confort climatique pour définir des solutions au niveau du véhicule en adoptant une approche innovante. Rattaché(e) à Nadine MOUSSA (Responsable Technique Confort Climatique, Power & Driving), vous travaillerez au sein d’équipes multiculturelles et inclusives et collaborerez avec la communauté Train System.

Vous ferez partie du Train System Office, où vous développerez des solutions standard de confort climatique et veillerez à leur déploiement sur les projets.

Vous renforcerez la culture du « Right First Time » en matière de confort climatique sur les sites Alstom à travers le monde. Au quotidien, vous collaborerez étroitement avec les équipes du matériel roulant (grande vitesse, tramway, métro, régional, etc.), en apportant votre expertise et en orientant vers l’optimisation.

Vos missions principales :

• Diriger les activités liées au confort climatique : définir la conception des sous-systèmes avec les fournisseurs, assurer la validation à bord, animer les réunions avec les parties prenantes
• Diriger et participer au réseau mondial Climate Comfort
• Soutenir les projets et les appels d’offres sur différents sites Alstom
• Assurer le déploiement des solutions standard sur les projets
• Proposer des solutions innovantes, de la conception à la démonstration

Profil recherché :

• Diplômé(e) d’un Master en ingénierie mécanique, vous avez une solide expertise en conception ferroviaire/thermique/fluidique-AeroX/CFD/HVAC/architecture véhicule (minimum 3 à 5 ans)
• Bonne connaissance de la thermodynamique
• Maîtrise des calculs de charge thermique et des principes de conception et d’architecture des systèmes de chauffage, ventilation et climatisation
• Bonne compréhension du rôle des systèmes/sous-systèmes sur la performance du confort climatique et capacité à faire des compromis techniques
• Bonne compréhension des modèles de coûts pour les systèmes HVAC, les gaines, vitrages et revêtements de sol contribuant au confort climatique
• Bonnes compétences en communication et en organisation (respect des délais), orienté(e) résultats, curieux(se) intellectuellement et créatif(ve)
• Maîtrise de l’anglais et envie de travailler de manière autonome dans un environnement international et relever les défis du nouvel Alstom
• Proactivité, souci du détail et esprit bienveillant. Bon relationnel
• Gestion des conflits et capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches. Sens du client et compétences en gestion

Could you be the full-time Climatic Comfort System Engineer in St Ouen in France we’re looking for?

Your future role:

Take up a new challenge and use your expertise in design and climatic comfort to define solutions at car level using an innovative approach. Reporting to Nadine MOUSSA (Power & Driving, Climatic Comfort Technical Team Manager), you will work alongside multicultural and inclusive teams and collaborate with the Train System community.

You will be part of the Train System Office, where your role will be to develop standard climatic comfort solutions and ensure their deployment on projects.

You will reinforce the Right First Time pass climate comfort culture across Alstom's global sites. On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with teams from the rolling stock business (high-speed, tramway, metro, regional, etc.), providing expert answers and guiding towards optimization.

We’ll look to you to:

•    Lead climate comfort activities: define subsystem design with suppliers, ensure on-train validation, lead stakeholder meetings

•    Lead and participate in the Climate Comfort Network worldwide

•    Support project and tender activities for various Alstom sites

•    Ensure the deployment of standard solutions on projects

•    Propose innovative solutions, from design to demonstration

•    Graduate with a Master's degree in mechanical engineering, you have strong expertise in railway/thermal/fluid-AeroX/CFD/HVAC/vehicle architecture design (minimum 3 to 5 years).
•    Strong knowledge of thermodynamics
•    Familiarity with climate comfort load calculations and the design and architecture principles of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
•    Good understanding of the role of systems/subsystems on climate comfort performance and good trade-off skills
Good understanding of cost models for HVAC systems, ductwork, glazing and flooring that contribute to climate comfort.
•    You have good communication and organisational skills (ability to meet deadlines). You are results-oriented, intellectually curious and creative.
•    You are fluent in English and are keen to work independently in an international environment and to take up the challenges of the new Alstom.
•    Proactivity, attention to detail and a caring attitude are important. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Conflict management and multi-tasking. Customer focus / management skills.
