The Cash Focus Project Director is part of the Group Business Performance Department, at the heart of ALSTOM’s central Finance organization.

 

Cash Focus is ALSTOM’s transverse programme managing cash generation performance improvement initiatives. It leads action plans coordinated with all ALSTOM Regions, Product Lines (Rolling Stock, Signaling and Integrated Systems, Services) and relevant supporting Functions throughout the ALSTOM Group.

Cash Focus plays a key role in coordinating numerous stakeholders and delivering regular trainings in order to promote cash culture& mindset within the entire ALSTOM Group.

 

Roles and responsibilities:

 

Reporting to the Vice President Group Business Performance, your responsibilities will address all businesses, commercial, financial, industrial and people cash generating drivers covering:

  • Cash profile in tender & project phases
  • Inventories / Hard stock linked to industrial cycle time
  • Suppliers cash profile
  • Overdues
  • Capex
  • Financing
  • Training, and cash mindset.

 

Requested profile

 

Degree in Engineering and/or Finance or Business

10-15 years of experience in Tender & Project Management or Industrial Operations Management or Finance Management

French and English at working level is necessary

 

Competencies & Skills

 

Strong analysis and interpersonal skills, with capacity to work in an international environment with many stakeholders reporting to a diverse range of departments within the company

Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize

Agile, able to manage several topics at the same time, while delivering quality

Advanced ability to present, train, motivate and report to the company’s top management
