PROJECT ENGINEERING MANAGER (M/F)

Based in St Ouen - France (93)

Project Engineering Manager is hierarchically reporting to the Head of Urban Project Engineering and functionaly reporting to the Project Manager

MISSION

Manage the contractual scope of the signalling project:
- Is accountable for the customer acceptance of the solution in particularly in case of dedicated developments;
- Manage the project engineering risks and the corresponding mitigation plan;
- Together with the project manager, in case of contractual scope evolution, rise variation order and manage it;
- Validate the technical design choices with the jobs referent and technical director;
- Identify which are the applicable regulations in the customer country/city and ensure they are taken into account in solution design.

Manage the project signalling SOLUTION – CBTC based – meaning the customization and parameterization of the generic SYSTEM to meet Quality Cost, Delay and Performance (QCDP) commitments
- Together with the Architect Engineers, analyse the project requirements database and allocate the developments to adequate Engineering contributors;
- Is chairman of Project Change Control Board;
- Pilot the project design and application engineering activities;
- Pilot Verification, Integration & Testing activities;
- Validate the Engineering Work Packages.

Functionally leads the project engineering team:
- Allocate Work Package(s) across project engineering team;
- Together with Domain Leaders (métiers), defines the project engineering team organization according to the project phase;
- Deploy the applicable engineering process on the project;
- Manage and assess the project engineering team;
- Share Environment, Hygiene and  Security rules to project engineering team;
- Assess the teams involved in project engineering activities but not functionally reporting to the PrEM for example in case of distant site leading unit. 

Manage the interface with the project Core Team:        
- Provide all technical documents to the project core team members for the supply, installation, test and commissioning (product BOQ, architecture schematics, ...);
- Solve commissioning issues detected by the project configuration leader
