Purpose of the job:                                                      

  • Manage the Supplier Quality Portal (SQP) users’ needs, liaising with key user network, Design Authority in IS&T and external providers
  • Internal community animation, to address existing and new needs (support level 2 + sometimes level 1 when needed, training, best practices sharing, analysis of local issues)
  • Drive the Networks of Quality Portal internal / External Key Users (KU)

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES  

Accountabilities & Authorities:

  • Manage the technical roadmap of the Alstom Quality Portal. Propose Changes and improvement based on structured business cases to digitize the method into the portal. Discuss the budget aspect and challenge it with IS&T stakeholders.
  • Ensure efficient SQP Steercos with IS&T to implement the SQP changes strategy using CR process and keeping the updated specification
  • Ensure that all interfaces connected to the Quality Portal (SOL / ERPs / Ref table / new CAD / ALTES) are working as specified … be aware of any update on this tool that can have an impact of day to day Supplier Quality Portal behavior
  • Participate in User Acceptance Test execution and report on each new GSI deployment
  • Organize and perform the relevant trainings for internal and external stakeholders, liaising with Quality school, and using video tutorials for wider impact. Training can be organized for any new ALSTOM SQ + also for external suppliers
  • Use Run reviews with IS&T to resolve issues including externals providers (weekly point) + ORM every 6 months
  • Organize the solutions to keep the data and improve the overall data quality in the SQP.

 

Drive and propose Quality Portal strategy, including the associated KPIs

  • Regularly Review and update the KPI to be used internally and by our suppliers.
  • Benchmark the relevant tools on the market to detect the potential solutions that would fit to the next generation of quality tools, including big data…
  • Gather inputs of all users of PST (not only SQP) and manage the interactions with IS&T and with the provider. – central business point of contact for HLP Services

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Education  

  • Master’s degree in science with Project management background
  • Awareness on Processes and Products delivered on Rail control domain,

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance Methods and Process
  • Ability to develop and deliver Training to facilitate learning of the Quality Portal (Internal and External to Suppliers)

Experience  

Mandatory:

  • Fluent in English
  • System/ SW design, WEB tool development
  • Software Quality Assurance plan with external subcontractor
  • Problem solving skills

Desirable:

  • Experience in Software development is a plus
  • Knowledge of Railway Internal Standard IRIS is a plus
  • Coming from Project Management in the domain of SW
