Could you be the full-time Business Development Manager (H/F) in Services France Belux we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic and relationship-building expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in driving growth by co-defining and implementing the Business Development strategy for Services France Belux, helping us win new customers and expand into new markets. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the Services VP, Business Lines, and the Marketing function), foster strong relationships with new customers, and gather market intelligence to anticipate trends and opportunities.

You’ll specifically take care of developing customer intimacy with new clients and promoting Alstom’s service solutions, but also ensuring the seamless transition of opportunities to tender teams and contributing to strategic plans.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Defining and implementing the Business Development strategy in line with the Services France and Belux business plan.

  • Compiling market intelligence on business trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new customers and potential partners.

  • Identifying and assessing potential opportunities, bringing visibility to business prospects.

  • Promoting Alstom’s service solutions to win profitable business and influence customer specifications.

  • Ensuring compliance with Alstom’s Ethics & Compliance rules in all business development actions.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience or understanding of business development, customer relationship management, and market analysis.

  • Knowledge of competitive strategies and the rail or transport industry.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Wall.C.

  • A certification in project management or a related field (preferred).

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Fluency in French and English is required.

Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines.

  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling.

  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.

  • Contribute to innovative projects.

  • Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment.

  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries.

  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning.

  • Progress towards senior leadership roles or other exciting career paths.

  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension).

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
