As Bid Manager, you will lead signalling bids delivery for France & Export markets.

Alstom signalling solutions cover the design and supply of train control, traffic supervision and regulation, as well as telecommunication systems for Urban (metro, tramway, monorail) or Mainline (regional or high-speed lines) applications.

 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and develop, in very close collaboration with the Tender Leader and the Customer Director, the winning strategy & the winning roadmap.
  • Coordinate all teams contributing to tender preparation (engineering, legal, finance, operations etc.) to build a winning proposal, robust technical and costs commitments, in a timely manner and within the defined tender budget.
  • Implement Alstom bids preparation processes from tender launch to internal bid validation & official submission.
  • Regularly and efficiently update internal stakeholders, including top management for critical bids, or partners.
  • Participate to contract negotiations and signature.
  • Contribute to Return of Experience (REX) through the Win-Loss Analysis.
  • Prepare the project and support the Project Manager in the first project review.

 

Your profile:

  • Engineering degree level or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Sales, Business Administration or a related discipline.
    • You are willing to evolve in a technological environment and you are interested in systems engineering.
    • You have minimum 5 years of successful experience in Project or Bid management.
    • You enjoy working on short term projects with tight deadlines and requiring the coordination of multiple contributors.
    • You have demonstrated transverse management skills in a technical environment as well as a strong ability to interface with Solution leaders, Sales, Engineering teams and Customers.
    • You are willing to lead decisions based on the identification of cost & optimization drivers and you are ready to report progress to the top-management (C-level).
    • You see quality processes as a lever.
    • You are customer, team & results oriented.

 

English is a must.

The role is base in Saint-Ouen.

 

In this mission, you will develop an in-depth knowledge of Alstom solutions & processes as long as advanced capabilities to coordinate a large number of contributors from all metiers.
