Within the Rolling Stock & Component division, the Industrial Train Operation central function is leading the acceleration of the deployment of Automation & Robotic in all manufaturing sites. A ressource is needed to reinforce the global support, by leading technically this transformation: the Robotic Technical Manager will be in charge to support , thanks to his/her sharp expertise in the domain, the automation deployment for all manufacturing processes.

Main Responsibilities 

The Robotic Technical Manager will have the following responsibilities:

• Support the sites in the definition of the solution : validate the Technical Specification
• Leverage on his/her experience to develop pre-studies and to accompany R&D initiatives 
• Define the Standard Solution to be deployed  by process ( welding, painting etc..) 
• Ensure sites are executing projects as per the Automation and Robotic General requirement (internal guidelines for robotic)
• Establish the validation & acceptance golden rules & methodology for automation projects 
• Ensure solid local validation & acceptance organization is in place and be accountable for validation tasks
• Participate to the definition of viable manufacturing ramp-up plan 
• Develop internal competencies and cross network 
• Monitor the Automation project pipeline and identify criticality (complexity, risk, delay) and accompany the sites to put in place actions whenever necessary (Top 10 projects) 

Technical Competencies 
•    Robotic & Automation Technical senior expertise, with a proven track record on several projects:
•   Strong knowledge of the project execution cycle for robot cells ( Design, Sourcing, Validation, Service, Operation): able to technically manage a project end-to-end.

•    Strong Validation and T&C experience in Robot cells

• BAC+3 minimum
• Programming competence in FANUC/ABB/YASKAWA/SIEMENS

Travel

Availability to travel at least 20% of the time

• Experience:  10 years’ experience in Robotic cell deployment in the Automotive/ Railway/Aviation sectors. Similar position held in other companies will be appreciated
