Join a key role in shaping tomorrow's automated metro systems. As Automatic Train Control (ATC) Leader in the ATC department (about 60 team members) within Digital & Integrated System France, you will drive the deployment of cutting-edge CBTC technologies in high-impact urban transport projects.

 

Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Lead the ATC subsystem work package throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure adherence to Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments.
  • Maintain the ATC project delivery plan and monitor its execution up to revenue service
  • In charge of its own project scope risk management

 

Coordination and Interfaces:

  • Functionally manage the ATC project team responsible for the subsystem specifications, data preparation & verification, validation and installation studies
  • Cross-functional coordination of 3rd parties (Rolling Stock, Systems, Customers, Safety, Quality, Installation, system platform, etc.)

 

Reporting:

  • Report project progress and indicators to both department and project management
  • Participate in internal and customer reviews

 

Miscellaneous:

  • Contribute to continuous improvement plan of the department (Agile, CI/CD, etc.)
  • Participate in adoption and deployment of new technology such as cybersecurity services for CBTC

 

Profile

Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering (generalist, embedded systems, railway signalling, etc)
  • Proven experience in technical management or coordination in complex environments (railway, aerospace, nuclear, automotive)
  • Experience with complex industrial safety critical systems with software components

 

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering methodologies (V-cycle, requirements management, configuration and change management)
  • Strong knowledge of safety-critical systems
  • Familiarity with railway signalling systems (ideally CBTC) is a plus
  • Familiarity with software development methodology such as Agile and CI/CD is a plus
  • Knowledge of tools such as DOORS, GIT, ClearQuest, EWM… or similar

  • Functional leadership and team coordination
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate with various stakeholders (technical, customer, executive)
  • Initiative, rigor, customer and results-oriented mindset
  • Curiosity and mindset focused on continuous improvement
  • Comfortable in multicultural environments

 

Practical information

  • Fluency in both French and English is required
  • Mobility: Occasional travel depending on projects
