OBJECTIVES OF THE MISSION:
We are looking for a student to work in our Train Development Site "Rolling Stock & Components Saint-Ouen”. Our Rolling Stock site is responsible to deliver tenders and projects all over the world, with more than 250 employees.
You will be working within the Purchasing team and will be responsible for contributing to the purchasing commitments for rolling stock tenders.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MISSION:
With the Procurement Tender Managers and Director, you will be responsible for identifying & preparing the purchasing part of the rolling stock tenders in collaboration with the various contributors (Engineering, Industrial, Planning, etc).
- Build robust and competitive tender Procurement Commitment: Cost, Scope & Schedule
- Manage Product Procurement reference to prepare tenders, to fit market prices and Customer needs
- With the support of your tutor, challenge tender requirements when relevant (promote standardization or optimum technology)
- Contribute to define Tender Procurement strategy
- Contribute to lead commitment reviews with commodities
- Consolidate the sourcing commitment in tender phase and the preliminary supplier list
- Propose committed savings, competitiveness improvement plans
- Propose a risk register, incl. mitigation plan
- Manage the commitment construction with the sourcing community
- Contribute to lead competitiveness reviews involving the management
PROFILE :
- Master's degree in Purchasing or equivalent (Engineering or Business school)
- Fluent in English
- Analytical mind & result oriented, structured
- Team player / Agility
- Open to work in an international environment
DURATION:
1 year contract, starting in September 2023
