Elaborate Standardization product and Standard Industrial Deliverables to Ref Lib / SMP-SML

 

Purpose of the Job : Looking for a 24/36 months apprenticeship

 

  • We are looking for a work-study Apprentice for our RSC Operations PME department. your role will be to participate in the standardization of industrial processes. 
  • The product portfolio has been structured across sites and projects offering a variety of solutions. The PME Apprentice in the central PME team will have the task of participating in the selection of Standard solutions. To do this, he or she will go through a phase of gathering information, sorting and comparing it and sharing it for validation in an argumentative way (QCD & EHS) with the members of the expert community.
  • The conclusions will be integrated into our product reference libraries and added to our standard SMP/SML. 
  • Each standard & solution need to be documented and published among all the industrial and engineering population through Share Points/AMS4U document database. 
  • Functionally reporting to the Fitting manager of PME central Metier, he/she will ensure to coordinate the internal/external experts and manufacturing sites mandated to work out the above standardization objectives.

 

Main Responsibility

 Closely working within a broad network (Industrial Ops & Performance) he/she will be in charge of :

Solution Standardizations

  • Identifying industrial assembly strategies ; identify the advantages/disadvantages of the various solutions implemented and propose alternative solutions with figures.
  • Write standard instruction sheets for the Standard Products selected in the case of the Product Standardisation strategy ; and have them validated by the industrial community of experts
  • Help define assembly time targets
  • Maintain the industrial database of standard instructions, including the SMP / SML currently being defined for each type of product.
  • Keep Update Kpi

 

Assets usage tracking

    • Keep update Activities and progress according to timetable define.
    • Develop jointly with community, the best standard and proposed improvement.

 Profile

  • Level of training: Bac+4/Bac+5
  • Technical skills: Catia, Visio, Excel, Manufacturing ranges, Mechanics (tolerances, assembly, machining), Continuous improvement.
  • Behavioural skills: Thoroughness, autonomy, ability to summarise and analyse, good interpersonal skills, initiative. Able to foster communications between multiple stakeholders (process expert, external engineers, industrial functions, finance…)
  • Team spirit approach and good communication skills
  • English fluent
