Within the Alstom Purchasing Department, attached to the Commodity Directors of Power and Energy Systems and Transformers & APU of the Electrical and Components domain, we are looking for a colleague, on a work-study basis, to work in the field lithium batteries, hydrogen fuel cells, traction transformers and auxiliary converters.
As part of your contract, you will be involved in the following tasks:
- Support of sourcing activities.
- Support to strategies: Supplier panel management, Sustainable sourcing, Make or buy
- Strategic analysis of results: main KPI, QCD
- Supplier risk management, Support and improvement of risk management process with commodity managers, Analysis of financial risk information
- Support of sourcing activities with commodity managers and buyers (Market analysis, negotiation...)
- Support of the new Smart Roadmap and the definition of commodity strategies
- Support to the management of purchasing processes (RFQ, LCC/BCC analysis...)
- Definition of the cost model
- Other missions can be defined together

Profile
- Required skills:
- Relational skills as well as a good sense of communication
- Autonomous, rigorous and dynamic
- Mastery of the Office suite
- Results oriented
- Fluent English
- Engineering studies and/or a Master's degree specialized in Purchasing with a first internship in Industry will be strong assets.
Contract
12 month internship starting in September 2025
