Joining Alstom’s Internal Communications & Employee Engagement team as an apprentice means animating a truly global community of people who are dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and to achieving international projects with sustainable local impact. People-centric stories are at the heart of our communication activities, providing our employees with insights into the best practices and daily lives of other colleagues around the world.
This role involves supporting the Internal Communications managers in their daily work by:
- Participating in the development and implementation of communication activities and plans with internal stakeholders (including video, articles, events, campaigns, etc.).
- Providing new ideas to improve communications content and tools to stick to current use of information (angles, formats, etc.).
- Writing content for our internal channels (intranet articles, newsletters, speeches, etc.)
- Developing various materials in collaboration with the central Communications team to support campaigns to 80,000 employees.
- Planning, preparing, and sending the managers’ newsletter to 12,000 managers (press review analysis, strategic content, etc.).
- Assisting in the planning and organisation of events (CEO team talks, people leaders convention, etc.).
- Following-up on the impact of communications actions (creating reports and presentations as required).
You have:
- Excellent writing, storytelling, editing, and proof-reading skills in English (French is a plus).
- Aptitude for journalism and new information technologies.
- Communication and networking skills.
You are:
- A self-starter and quick learner who is ready to take on responsibility.
- Curious, creative, open-minded, and proactive.
- Currently enrolled in a journalist school or communication-related master’s degree
- Keen on working in an international company which has a strong purpose, that is sustainable, and connects people.
- Looking for ideally a two-year apprenticeship starting in September 2025.
The role is based in our Paris headquarters in Saint-Ouen.
