Could you be the full-time Accounting Director for the Africa/Middle East/Central Asia (AMECA) region & Central accounting coordination Director we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your financial and accounting expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and proficient teammates.

You'll ensure compliance with laws and regulations, manage and support the region's accounting network, and monitor the application of Alstom’s accounting roadmap. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Country Finance Directors, Global Finance Centers), manage relationships with external auditors, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of harmonizing accounting processes, supporting finance transformation initiatives, and providing accounting support and expertise to AMECA business, but also animate the Group Accounting community.

Having a dual role at region and central levels will bring a 360 view of the business and accounting projects at Alstom and will offer maximum visibility. This opportunity is a great chance to interface with Senior Management of the Group, in particular the Group Finance Executive Committee.

 

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Ensuring strict local compliance with laws and regulations
  • Coordinating audit processes and statutory accounts
  • Managing the AMECA accounting network and community
  • Implementing Alstom’s accounting roadmap within the region
  • Providing accounting support and expertise to business partners
  • Playing a central role in Group Accounting coordination

  • 10-15 years of experience in Finance positions
  • Senior management experience in an audit firm or financial department of a large group, with IFRS expertise and project accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for listed companies and accounting practices within large groups
  • Proven abilities in managing and accounting for long-term contracts
  • Leadership skills to manage and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment
