We are looking for a Supply Chain - Supply Chain - Procurement & Logistics Methods & Tools Manager (H/F)  within our “central – corporate”  supply chain organization.

The position is based in Saint-Ouen, in our Head Quarter.

 

This job is part of the Alstom Global Supply Chain organization, within the “central – corporate”  team.

 

The Global Supply Chain covers all the Alstom businesses: Rolling Stock & Components, Services, Signaling and Systems & Infrastructure.

 

The key missions of the Alstom Global Supply Chain are:

  • To ensure operational performance supported by strong process adoption
  • To develop the Alstom Supply Chain to support region’s growth
  • To lead Supply Chain “métiers” and competencies
  • To develop local team empowerment and cross-regional collaboration

 

The Global Supply Chain is based on 3 major sub-processes:

  • Supply Chain Planning & Hard Inventory
  • Procurement & Supplier Relationship Management
  • Logistics, transport & Customer Services

 

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:                                                                           

 

As a member of the Global Supply Chain Methods & Tools team, the Procurement & Logistics Methods & Tools Manager will be in charge to:

  • Drive the Procurement & Logistics Methods & Tools strategy execution by:
    • Identify of the business needs
    • Define & validate standards & processes (inc tools)
    • Deploy standards & processes (inc tools) and make sure that they are applied in a proper and efficient way
    • Ensure strong cascading processes within the organization for ensuring core model (standards & processes (inc. tools)) is duly applied

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Manage Procurement & Logistics Methods & Tool strategy execution by:
    • Identify & prioritize the business needs
    • Animate change management / scoping for implementation of new standards & processes (inc. tools) in close collaboration with the Information System department according to budget constraint
    • Define & validate new standards & processes (inc. tools)
    • Support the deployment of the core model and make sure that it is applied in the proper and efficient way through specific means (maturity matric, assessment…)

 

  • Manage Procurement & Logistics Methods & Tool performance by:
    • Set up & deploy core KPIs for core model application
    • Monitoring of performance with systematic review of root causes & analysis with follow up of Region owned action plan

 

  • Procurement & Logistics Methods & Tools network animation by:
    • Animate Regional network
    • Train the Regional network
    • Qualify the Regional network
    • Continuous technology watch on Procurement & Logistics Methods Tools with Key contribution to Digital operations definition within & between Alstom sites

 

QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCIES - Expected Level

 

  • 5 years experience
  • Team spirit, able to work in an international environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation & writing skills (French & English)
  • Advanced SAP knowledge is a must, including SAP Material Management and Wharehouse management modules
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to details & multitasking skills
  • Languages: English fluent, French appreciated  
  • Experiences (desirable):
    • Ascot (SAP Supply Network Collaboration) knowledge
    • Kinaxis MP (Material planning) knowledge
    • Kinaxis MPS (Master Production scheduling) knowledge
    • Logistic mobile solutions with barcode use
    • Inter-site internal Procurement with use of Stock transfer orders
    • Travel ability to support sites more or less 30%
