Purpose of the Job

  • Prepare Service platform strategic tenders across Regions
  • Lead support on key Service bids across Regions



  • Follow-up of tender process including organization of key Gate Reviews
  • Contribute to refining tender strategy liaising with the Regions
  • Assessment of Contract Terms & Conditions & writing of corresponding bid deliverables
  • Ensure robustness of costing through involvement of relevant stakeholders (sourcing, legal, tax, insurance, etc) and internal approval process
  • Challenge costings to meet target costs
  • Assess tender risks and propose mitigation measures
  • Ensure that all agreements (especially external, with partners, etc) and commitments are documented to ensure robustness
  • Ensure delivery of quality deliverables by involving relevant internal or external resources
  • Participate in tender and contract negotiations if any up to award ensuring compliance with Alstom processes and margin guidance
  • If awarded, ensure smooth handover to the project execution team
  • Contribute to the Win/Loss Analysis, action plan follow-up and return of experience.


Performance Measurement

  • Competitiveness and completeness of tenders delivered in line with Alstom processes
  • Ability to organize, delegate, monitor tender preparation work amongst contributors
  • Traceability of internal and external commitments delivered as part of tender preparation



  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in large infrastructure industry
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Bid Management, Project Management of Systems Infrastructure or Service projects



•          Costing / financial skills

•          Fluent in English

•          Ability to solve problems by being collaborative, creative and analytical

•          Ability to achieve outcomes with minimal direct supervision

•          Good written and oral communications

•          High reactivity, proactivity and adaptability
