Alstom Service platform offers a wide range of business solutions for Rolling Stocks (train, metro, tramway…), Signalling and Infrastructure products: maintenance, modernization, technical support and parts services.

 

IS&T supports the Service business activity with a dedicated application landscape with ERP, Field Service, PLM, eCommerce, CRM, BI, IoT and EPM solutions. A wide range of digital solutions is being implemented to optimize Alstom business processes and provide services to customers: maintenance documentation, catalogue of spare parts, dashboards, knowledge base, eCommerce for spare parts, Market Place, mobile service execution system, Remote Expertise, Training solutions, eLogbook, maintenance planning optimization… based on technologies such as SAP, Salesforce, Apriso, Anaplan, Arbortext, QlikSense, Maximo a.s.o

 

The main stakes are to act as a control tower to ensure overall consistency of Service application landscape and provide new Digital solutions for Alstom Service teams and customers: to design and industrialize the solutions and to support the regular deployments.


An open position is available in France (Saint-Ouen) to support the IS&T enterprise architecture activities of Maintenance, Modernization, Spare Parts and Customer Experience domains.

 

The IS&T Service Architect will report directly to the IS&T Service Solution Lead Architect. He/She will be in charge of Enterprise Architecture of Service solutions.

 

Major missions of Enterprise Architecture are the following:

  • Capture, challenge and quality business needs: collect business requirements, contractual commitments, risk of not doing, business case, identify possible solution and assess delivery timeline, cost and capacity with IS&T delivery teams
  • Define and maintain long-term Solutions roadmap and strategy (3+ years), aligning:
    • business strategic stakes, vision & value,
    • solutions architecture & urbanization,
    • vendor roadmaps,
    • global capabilities, capacities and budgets/investment priorities,
    • IS&T operating models (delivery & support),
    • obsolescence management of all IS&T layers,
    • compatibility with technical & security patterns, and continuous alignment with IS&T Infrastructure & Security roadmap
  • Proactively anticipate solutions evolutions to serve or even provoke Alstom business transformation, by continuous and regular internal & external benchmarks, and market watch
  • Enlight top management awareness on IS&T solutions risks & opportunities at company level, to orientate and anticipate tactical and strategic investments
  • Decline 3+ years strategy & roadmap into 1 year rolling portfolio of project, working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders: Business, IS&T Demand Management (Business Partners), IS&T Finance Control, PMO and Delivery Directors
  • Conduct project pre-studies: functional and technical assessment of new technologies, High Level Designs for projects, assess TCO impacts, design support model…
  • Permanently monitor, control, and optimize solutions portfolio Total Cost of Ownership (TCO: licenses, hosting and support costs), while ensuring in particular compliance on license usage, obsolescence management, and respect of security patterns
  • Define and maintain Business Solutions Architecture patterns / Service offering catalog

 

Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology, you have more than 3-5 years of experience in IS&T architecture and solutions design and a strong knowledge of Service domain.

 

As a manager you have good communication, leadership and change management skills. You are result oriented, able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.

You demonstrate the ability to use your technical knowledge in collaboration with other departments (business, sourcing, finance…), to organize workshops and to collect, challenge and formalize requirements.

 

Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom.
