Alstom IS&T is ensuring for the Alstom businesses the build and support of a large portfolio of global business solutions in several functional areas. The Ody.C Integration Project Manager reports to the Tenders & Projects manager and is accountable to specify, manage the build & deploy and support the roll-out of Ody.C in exBT Sites&Projects-Tenders.

 

With strategic partners, he/she will ensure the availability and the performance of the integration in his/her scope. Reporting to the Tenders & Projects manager Manager he/she will:

  • Be the main point of contact to gather new needs related to Ody.C roll-out
  • Support Business to prioritize the requirements
  • Manage the Roll-out roadmap
  • Lead Change Requests (planning, estimation, coordination and execution) and integrate them in the Ody.C master Roadmap
  • Manage new licences needs in coordination with the architect.
  • Manage the impact on Run/support activities
  • Be close to Integration (Interfaces with ERP) team - Support/Rex/Innovation
  • Deliver to Support Team
  • Manage the Rex and maintain knowledge database
  • Coordinate with Partners, Services Performance Team, Business Users for Incident Management and Change management
  • Daily, weekly and monthly operation reviews with the partner selected for Application Management Services in coord
  • Manage conflicts and be the escalation point of contact for KU’s/Business
  • Identify and propose Continuous improvement initiative to improve services efficiency (as for example the drive of overall ticket volume decrease)
  • Prepare the reporting data and dashboard for the operational activity
  • Participate in Projects Go-Live planning to ensure operational readiness, prepare transition to run
  • Propose optimisation for Projects/Sites support team

 

Control Project

  • Report in a timely manner Project status by following standards
  • Ensure that the Project operate within the approved budget / scope
  • Monitor all budgeted Project expenditures
  • Monitor forecast and report actual / cost at risk
  • Ensure that all financial records for the Project are up to date
  • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with Project activities and take appropriate action to control the risk

 

PROFILE :

To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:     

  • Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology, you have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management or IS&T Management (project management certifications preferred, experience of large scale / global programs is required). You have a strong knowledge and experience of ERP/Project Management systems, especially SAP and/or Planisware solutions. You also have a minimum of 5 years experience in coordinating and/supporting IS&T business processes.
  • As a manager you demonstrate strong communication, leadership and change management skills. You have the ability to engage effectively with Executive level stakeholders. Program Directors require solid scheduling and budgeting experience. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity 
  • Fluent in French and in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom

 

The challenge of the position is the accountability of the performance of critical applications for Alstom company, by having both IT technical skills and good functional knowledge. He/she will have to interact with many stakeholders in the functions and metiers of ALSTOM and with all the IT partners of Alstom in order to manage the issues and conflicts when critical events related to the applications in his/her portfolio. Very good communication and negotiation skills are mandatory.
